Magical Courtyard by Johann Wanner

Famous throughout the city for making and selling handcrafted Christmas decorations, Johann Wanner is one of the initiators of this year’s “Magical courtyards in Basel” Christmas campaign. Basel’s “Father Christmas” delights countless visitors every year with his splendidly decorated Christmas tree on Münsterplatz. As if this weren’t beautiful enough, there is now also a courtyard bedecked in festive decorations during the Christmas period, depicting the Basel original.

From the decorated fountain to the richly adorned tree in the middle of the courtyard to the garland decorations on the stunning balconies and windows of Theater Fauteuil – the magical courtyard amazes visitors from near and afar.
