Balz Klub is a feel-good bar and club in the heart of Grossbasel. It sets the vibe by combining different styles of music, playing party tunes for every taste on two floors. Open format and hip-hop dominate in the club, while the finest techno music makes the bass purr in the back room.

The weekend starts as early as Thursday – with the legendary “Studentenfutter” student parties. On Friday and Saturday, various labels from a wide variety of genres serve up a feast for the ears. In addition to local favourites, highlight acts from out of town regularly provide the musical backdrop for the perfect courtship dance, while the city's best stand-up comedy club makes a guest appearance from time to time.
