Originally the aftertaste of musicians and sound engineers from baselcitystudios, today the Schmatz serves freshly cooked, seasonal menus from Monday to Friday and convinces its guests both inside and outside. The terrace is a true oasis in the middle of the urban and up-and-coming Dreispitz area. In the evenings and on weekends the restaurant can be rented for events from 30 to 300 people.
